Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

Livedeck: IPTV Player (“Livedeck”, “the app”) is developed by David Alcaraz, an individual developer based in Barcelona, Spain (“we”). You can reach us at support@livedeck.rpiassistant.win.

1. In short

2. Playlists and streams

When you add a playlist (an M3U address or Xtream Codes details), your device connects directly to the servers you specify to download the playlist, the TV guide (EPG), artwork and the video streams. Those services receive technical data such as your IP address and the app’s User-Agent, and they handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not operate, control or have access to those servers.

3. Data stored on your device

Livedeck stores on your device: your saved playlists (name, address, optional User-Agent and guide address, and any credentials included in the address), favorites, watch history and resume positions, programme reminders, app preferences and the date your free trial started. This data stays on your device except as described in section 4.

4. iCloud sync

If your device is signed in to iCloud, Livedeck syncs your playlists, favorites, watch history and reminders through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, in your private iCloud account, so they appear on your other devices. We cannot see or access this data. Playlist addresses may contain credentials supplied by your provider; they are synced in the same way. You can turn this off in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud ▸ Apps Using iCloud ▸ Livedeck, and delete the data in iCloud storage settings.

5. Notifications

Programme reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Livedeck does not use a push notification server. The app asks for permission only after you have loaded your first playlist.

6. Anonymous statistics and purchase records

To understand how the app is used, fix problems and count purchases, Livedeck writes anonymous records to the public CloudKit database of our developer account (a service operated by Apple). Records are written only when the device is signed in to iCloud.

RecordWhat it contains
InstallationA random identifier generated when the app is first installed (not your Apple ID, not the advertising identifier, not a device identifier), platform (iOS, iPadOS, tvOS or macOS), app version and build, operating system version, region of the device (e.g. “ES”), first and last time seen, trial start date, access status (trial, purchased or expired), and simple counters: playlists loaded, searches, favorites added, channels played and playback errors.
PurchaseThe same random identifier, plan (monthly, yearly or lifetime), purchase, renewal, expiry and refund dates, environment (production or sandbox) and platform. No price, payment method or personal details.

Not collected: playlist addresses, credentials, channel or programme names, what you watch, contacts, location, photos or any content of your device.

CloudKit automatically attaches to each record an opaque technical identifier of the iCloud account that wrote it. It does not reveal your name or email address, and we do not use it to identify you.

These records are used only for statistics and product improvement. They are not shared with third parties, not used for advertising and not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Because the records are anonymous we generally cannot tell which one is yours; to stop contributing, sign out of iCloud on the device or uninstall the app.

7. Purchases

Payments, subscriptions, refunds and offer codes are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.

8. Retention and deletion

Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Data in your iCloud account can be deleted from Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud ▸ Manage Storage. Anonymous statistics are kept for as long as they are useful for analysing the app.

9. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. We process anonymous statistics on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the app is used and improving it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Contact us at support@livedeck.rpiassistant.win. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

10. Children

Livedeck is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be reflected in the app or its App Store page.
